Quranote.com ("Quranote", "we", "us", "our") is a free, ad-free digital platform dedicated to making the Holy Quran accessible to Muslims worldwide. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

We built Quranote as a service to the Muslim Ummah — not as a commercial product. That founding principle shapes every decision we make about data:

Third-Party Services

Quranote integrates the following third-party services to deliver specific features. Each has its own privacy policy which we encourage you to review:

Islamic Network CDN (cdn.islamic.network)

Streams all verse-by-verse Quran audio recitations. Audio requests are made directly from your browser to their CDN servers. Your IP may be logged by their servers per their own policy.

Aladhan Prayer Times API (aladhan.com)

Used to calculate accurate Islamic prayer times. When you request prayer times, your city name or coordinates are sent to this API. No personal account data is shared.

Google Tag Manager & Analytics

We use GTM for anonymised analytics — page views, feature usage, and session duration. We do not enable Google Ads or remarketing features. IP addresses are anonymised.

Google Fonts

Amiri, Lato, and Noto Nastaliq Urdu fonts are loaded from Google's servers. Google may log font requests including your IP address.

The Prayer Times feature can optionally use your device's GPS location to calculate Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha times. Here is exactly how this works:

Your location is used only to calculate prayer times. It is never stored, shared, or used to infer any other information about you.

Quranote is designed to be accessible to Muslims of all ages, including children learning the Quran. We take children's privacy very seriously:
