And seek help through patience and prayer and indeed it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah]

O you who have believedseek help through patience and prayer. Indeed Allah is with the patient.

And when they went forth to [face] Goliath and his soldiers they Said Our Lord Pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.

||And you do not resent us except because we believed in the signs of our Lord when they came to us. Our Lordpour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims [in submission to You].

||And they brought upon his shirt false blood. [Jacob] saidRatheryour souls have enticed you to somethingso patience is most fitting. And Allah is the one sought for help against that which you describe.

||[Jacob] saidRatheryour souls have enticed you to somethingso patience is most fitting. Perhaps Allah will bring them to me all together. Indeed it is He who is the Knowingthe Wise.

||And be patient[O Muhammad]and your patience is not but through Allah. And do not grieve over them and do not be in distress over what they conspire.

||He saidIndeedwith me you will never be able to have patience.

||And how can you have patience for what you do not encompass in knowledge?

||[Al-Khidh r] saidDid I not say that with me you would never be able to have patience?

||[Al-Khidh r] saidDid I not tell you that with me you would never be able to have patience?

||[Al-Khidh r] saidThis is parting between me and you. I will inform you of the interpretation of that about which you could not have patience.

||And as for the wallit belonged to two orphan boys in the cityand there was beneath it a treasure for themand their father had been righteous. So your Lord intended that they reach maturity and extract their treasureas a mercy from your Lord. And I did it not of my own accord. That is the interpretation of that about which you could not have patience.

||Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them - so worship Him and have patience for His worship. Do you know of any similarity to Him?

||And We did not send before you[O Muhammad]any of the messengers except that they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you [people] as trial for others - will you have patience? And ever is your LordSeeing.

||So be patient with gracious patience.

||And then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion.

Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.
